General Information
After pretreatment, the PET fragments were then heated and dried at higher temperatures to remove residual moisture. For example, drying more than 6 hours in a drying box at 150 degrees C, the water content in the debris is less than 0.05%, in order to avoid the rapid hydrolysis of PET during the subsequent extrusion granulation, which leads to a sharp decline in molecular weight and a sharp drop in viscosity.
